Musculoskeletal Disorders

Carpal tunnel, tendonitis, ligament sprains, rotator cuff tendonitis, degenerative disc disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, bursitis, muscular dystrophy, and lupus erythematosus are just a few of many musculoskeletal disorders. The symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders are very common and can include pain or problems in the joints, bones, muscles, ligaments, bursas, or tendons. We will scan the area of concern and assess any areas of inflammation that may be contributing to your discomfort. A thermogram can detect inflammation before it is symptomatic in the body, so with regular thermograms/full body scans, you may be able to cut off a musculoskeletal disorder before it begins to adversely affect your life.

Sinus and Allergies

A scan can provide a picture of your entire body, including some of the same areas a health scan can, like the sinuses. Inflammation in the sinuses can indicate sinus problems or allergies (chronic or seasonal). Symptoms of sinus trouble could include runny or stuffy nose, pain or pressure in the sinus cavities, headaches, possibly toothaches, bad breath, and you may be diagnosed with frequent sinus infections. Allergy symptoms could include a runny or stuffy nose, cough, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes, wheezing, itchy skin, rashes, hives, swellings, and sometimes also digestive issues.

What is THERMAGROPHY?

Thermography is a safe, affordable test that is filling the gaps in medical diagnosis by providing information that standard anatomical tests do not. Thermography can aid in deciphering descriptions of pain, detecting compensatory problems and/or demonstrating physiological changes in injury or chronic disease. It can also serve as a biofeedback tool helping patients visualize the pain they feel.

HOW IS THERMOGRAPHY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TESTS?

Thermography is a test of physiology that studies the functional aspect of the body. It can detect subtle changes related to inflammation, blood flow, and nerve conduction safely and without the use of contact, dyes, or radiation. Radiography, CT, ultrasound, MRI, etc. are anatomical tests that study structure. They utilize radiation, sound waves, or magnetic fields to recreate an image of the structures inside the body. Thermography is not a replacement for structural tests because it provides a different set of information. But it is an important adjunctive test that can help with diagnosis and clinical correlation, and often, it can even help solve "mystery pain".In many cases, thermography can provide information that no other test can provide as efficiently or as affordably.

HOW THERMOGRAPHYISFINDING THE MISSING PIECES IN MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS...

  • It is sensitive to metabolic changes not detected by standard anatomical testing
  • It is sensitive to subtle variants allowing for a wide range of applications
  • Its graphical representations of physiological evidence can serve as “biofeedback” for patients
  • Thermography is an affordable means of full body imaging free of radiation and contact

A full body scan could help evaluate cause and effect and monitor physiological activity for:

  • Chronic headaches
  • Trigger points
  • Referred pain
  • Inflammatory pain
  • Chronic unexplained pain
  • Nerve damage
  • Nerve impingement
  • Neurovascular compression
  • Biomechanical dysfunction
  • Biomechanical stressors
  • Vascular irregularity
  • Peripheral circulation
  • Dental and TMJ
  • Lymphatic congestion

BE PROACTIVE WITH THERMOGRAPHY

Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging, commonly known as thermography, offers an unparalleled insight into a person's physiology and potential health issues. This safe yet affordable technique can help identify changes long before standard diagnostic techniques are able to detect any pathology - making the journey from wellbeing to illness much easier to track and follow.
